Accepted lead terms and refund review
PestPin is a pay-per-lead marketplace, and a lead here means one introduction: a single homeowner request, offered to one provider at a time. Account credit is deducted only when you choose to accept an offer. Invalid-lead claims require documented review and are not automatically approved. Here is how the current pricing and review process works.
Self-service lead-credit top-ups are available from an approved provider's dashboard. Monthly placement plans are not on sale, so an accepted introduction is the only charge that can reach your account.
What you pay
- A flat fee per accepted lead: $29 for a general pest lead, $99 for a specialty lead (termite and bed bug, the higher-value jobs). A commercial property introduction is $149, keyed to the property type the requester selected, not the pest. That's the whole price. The $29 general rate is a founding rate through December 31, 2026. After that a general introduction is $49.
- Only when you accept. Every lead arrives as a preview (pest, city, first name). You see it before you pay. Accept to unlock the homeowner's full contact; decline and you owe nothing.
- No required subscription, no commission. We never take a percentage of the job. Monthly placement plans are not on sale, and no plan has ever been required to receive lead offers.
- $29 welcome credit. Every approved claim receives it. It does not expire. At current prices it covers your first $29 general introduction, and your balance stays on the account.
Invalid-lead refund review
If an accepted lead has one of the problems below, submit a documented refund request from your dashboard within seven days. Choose the reason and provide at least 20 characters of useful detail so PestPin can review it:
- A wrong, disconnected, or fake phone number
- Spam, a bot, or an obvious test submission
- A duplicate of a lead you already received
- A job outside your service area or a pest you don't treat
- Someone who says they never requested a quote
Submission does not issue an instant or guaranteed credit. PestPin reviews the evidence to protect providers and homeowners, then records the decision.
What is not refundable
A lead that simply didn't become a booked job is not refunded: the homeowner didn't answer, chose another company, or decided to wait. The charge covers the accepted, exclusive introduction, not a booked job or a guaranteed response. Invalid-contact and other listed quality issues can be submitted for review; an ordinary non-conversion cannot.
One provider at a time
PestPin never offers the same request to competing providers in parallel and never sells it as a shared lead. Before acceptance, a declined or expired offer may move to another eligible provider only when the homeowner allowed fallback matching. Once you accept, PestPin does not reoffer that request to a competitor and does not take a cut of the job. We may still contact the homeowner about request status, support, safety, or a request-linked review invitation.
