How we make money
PestPin is always free for homeowners. You never pay to search, to compare companies, to read any reviews on a listing, or to send a request.
One thing is for sale today: an introduction a pest control company chose to accept. The monthly placement plans below are built but are not sold yet, so PestPin earns no subscription revenue at all.
Where our revenue comes from
- Exclusive accepted introductions, which is all of it. When a local pest control company is available, we offer the request to one company at a time. An approved provider's account credit is deducted only if they accept: $29 for a general-pest lead or $99 for termite and bed bug. A commercial property introduction is $149, keyed to the property type the requester selected, not the pest. The $29 general rate is a founding rate through December 31, 2026. After that a general introduction is $49. Your details are never resold to competing companies. A match and company access to your contact details is confirmed only after acceptance.
- Optional placement plans. These are designed and priced but not on sale. A monthly fee would buy placement only: a spot above unclaimed listings, a higher spot within the paid tiers, or a labeled Featured slot. Nobody can buy one today, and we will say so here on the day that changes. Contact details are shown free on every listing, and a monthly plan is not required to receive lead offers.
- Featured placement. Not sold today. If it opens, a provider will be able to pay for a Featured slot in a city. Featured listings are always clearly labeled "Sponsored" or "Featured."
What money does not buy
Payment never buys a better star rating or the ability to hide or alter published, request-linked reviews. Record-match labels reflect a match to an official source as processed, not advertising spend. No placement is on sale, so nothing in the order you see was paid for: claimed listings come first, then listings whose public record is more complete. Request-linked rating and review-count signals can affect later ordering when present, with stable tie-breakers after that. This display order is not a recommendation or a claim about work quality.
Our commitment
We label paid placement, moderate reviews before publication, and show the regulator source and processing date behind a record-match label. Readers should still confirm current status, insurance, services, and availability directly.
